The box for Quickverse Bible Premier Suite 2007 came with two DVDs and a manual called “QuickTrip Tutorial”. One DVD contains the installer and the other DVD contains MP3 audio files for the King James Version and the World English Bible.
My computer runs Windows Vista. I put in the Install DVD and I got a window asking if I wanted to install for Windows, Pocket PC, or Palm. Since more people will install for Windows I clicked on that option. It is the first option in the list. There is also a User Guide list in case you can’t find your manual. After clicking on Windows I need to “allow” Windows Vista to run the installer then I get the welcome screen with Next and Cancel buttons. I click on Next.
The second window shows the user agreement with the options of I Agree and Cancel, so I select I Agree.
The third window asks for the installation directory. It defaults to the C: drive which is fine for most people. Here I have the options for Browse - to select a different location, Back, Next, and Cancel. I selected Next.
The fourth window has three options.
- Minimal Installation (153 MB) - Installs all of the application files and minimal books and minimal media elements.
- Typical Installation (694.4 MB) - Installs all of the application files and some of the books and media elements.
- Full Installation (799 MB) - Installs everything
I also have Back, Next, and Cancel buttons. I selected Full Installation and Next.
The fifth window just tells me that I am ready to start installation of QuickVerse Bible 2007 Essentials and I have the options for Back, Next, and Cancel. I selected Next.
I then had to wait for the files to be copied with the typical process bar window telling me the percent completed. I didn’t have to switch DVDs nor did I get any error messages in the entire process. I got a sixth window telling me that I can buy extra books to extend the QuickVerse system online with the option to finish.
