Books in the Bible
List of books in the Bible
The bible is a collection of books written by people inspired by God as well as histories of events, genealogies, and songs or poetry. Basically the Bible is an anthology. There is some controversy over which books are included and which are not. The Protestant bible excludes two groups of books that are called Deuterocanonical and Apocryphal. In most protestant churches they are together called Apocryphal. In Roman Catholic churches, the Deuterocanonical books are included at the end of the Old Testament while a few Apocryphal books are still not included.
