Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year followed by Thanksgiving. Christmas is about Santa Claus and presents but it is also the story of the birth of baby Jesus and how his parents Mary and Joseph traveled and received the first Christmas presents. I loved going with my parents to the Christmas eve candlelight service at Church and later going with friends. It was nice singing the Christmas carols and seeing the gigantic spruce tree all decorated. It made me feel all warm in the cold Iowa winter.
